Setting up a MacBook Air

I recently got my first MacBook. First OS computer. I have had iPhones and iPads since the iPhone 4 came out. I have my iCloud account for my personal data however, I use another account for apple music, app purchases, etc. On my iPhone, I have it set up that the iPhone falls under my iCloud by all my purchases and subscriptions go through the second account. Is there a way to set this up on a MacBook. I mainly want to be able to access Apple Music on my MacBook with out having to pay for it twice.
