How to prevent a child from deleting apps

Does anyone have a suggestion of an app I can use to prevent my cognitively impaired child from deleting apps on my iPad?

You can use the built-in option. Change "Deleting Apps" to "Don't Allow" as shown in Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Note that even though it says "on your child's iPhone" you can turn the option on in your iPad.
