Refund issue

i have just got a email saying that a refund has been sent back to my account and just wondering when does the refund go back into my account?

The issue was from a app that I had used so will them funds go back onto the app account our my actual bank account? As I do not intend to use the app again as it did not help my needs on what I needed!
