Suspicious call

I received a strange call. Someone called and said that there was suspicious activity concerning my Apple account. To press 1 if I wanted to talk to someone about it. However, when I answered the phone my caller ID listed a local number and a person whom I know personally, and know for a fact they do not work for Apple. Pretty sure it was a scam. But could you check my account for any suspicious activity. Did play some games, should have a couple of 1.99 fees. Thanks Angie Birchfield

All such calls are scams from criminals attempting to steal your personal and financial information. The callers will often use number spoofing to pretend they are calling from a legitimate business. The correct course of action is to ignore the calls or hang up on them, repeatedly if needed.
