Cellular Data randomly turns off

I’ve seen a few similar questions regarding this issue. However all answers/methods have not worked for me. Basically when I am playing a game, watching a video, checking a random app. My cellar data decides to turn itself off, and take forever to come back on. Once it comes back on, it’ll either keep turning off and on for a minute unless I do airplane mode, or it won’t come back on in general and when I open control center the cell air data button is greyed out ( disabled, locked) and it will stay off unless I turn on airplane mode and turn it off.


This has been happening for about a year, I didn’t mind it until I lost my home in a fire and I am now required to use hotspot etc.


As far as entertainment, I’ve lost countless games because my data decides it’s time for me to lose and turn off on its own.


Before I’m told to try any “Resets” I’ve done

  • hard reset
  • network reset
  • settings reset
  • phone reset



also I’ve tired

• changing screen time settings as instructed

• turned off my LTE and try 3G

• done all the roaming setting stuff


etc


There has to be something I am missing. I’ve done all of basic troubleshooting. Yes I even checked SIM card. Why is this is thing? How can I fix this once and for all.

Below are screenshots from a screen recording. Data turns off by itself, then “no service” even though I’m in a great area, then cellular button greys out and does not respond when I try to turn it back on.

Hi AncientPlayer,


It looks like your device is having some cellular issue displaying the No Service for your carrier data. We know how important it is to have your cellular data working properly, especially after all the steps you have tried and the circumstances you're under. You've come to the right place for help.


On your device go ahead and also check in Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data options to be sure that Low Data Mode is not enabled, and that Voice & Data is set to LTE or VoLTE.


This resource will offer some additional suggestions, including checking with your carrier.

So I’ve done every single possible troubleshooting step. Removed SIM card, contacted Verizon and no one still knows why this happens. My data settings is how it needs to be and certain apps still turn off my data when it chooses. Even on phone calls, The call will drop, my data turns off and sometimes even my service. It (this issue) even overrides WiFi calling. Doesn’t seem like the type of phone matters I’ve seen many others have this issue with newer iphones than my. What settings do we need to set to prevent apps from Turing off our data randomly? It’s almost like there is no long term solution, just forced resets, network resets, factory( which is ridiculous). I’ve done all troubleshooting steps.
