Multitasking - Zoom App + iPad Pro

I have an Ipad Pro, while being on a zoom call I wanted to switch between tabs or spilt the screen and have my speaker notes along with the zoom app. But as soon as I do that the Zoom video pasuses. Is there a way I can ensure my video does not pause while i spilt my screen or switch tabs? I do not face this issue with my MacBook Air. So do let me know what I can change in my settings for the iPad to have the same experience as the MacBook Air.

No, it’s not an problem with iPadOS multitasking. Apps have to be written/updated to specifically support (or if the Developer chooses - not support) certain system features.

Zoom, at present, does not support the full multitasking features that some users such as yourself, would like to see. Being a third-party App, we have no idea if this is by design, omission, or software coding defect.
