Why won’t my Apple Pencil 2 interface with my iPad 8th gen? I just got it today, put it on the magnetic strip on the side of my iPad and absolutely nothing. I’m so frustrated. Bluetooth is on and under devices the wheel keeps cranking. I tried restarting iPad twice. Nothing works

Your second generation Apple Pencil isn’t working with your iPad8 as they are incompatible. iPad8 requires a first generation Pencil.
