Can split keyboard be enabled on 2020 iPad Pro? It's missing from settings.

I have a 12.9 inch 2020 iPad Pro and I have tried everything on the internet to activate the split keyboard but the option to enable split keyboard in settings is missing. I cannot switch to the split keyboard from the keyboard itself either. I also have the magic keyboard folio which I'm unsure if that makes a difference. I desperately want to use split keyboard because it is easier to type with on iPad that using the huge one that takes up the whole screen. All help is appreciated!
