Does anyone else’s iPhone XR have a chipping paint issue ????? I opened mine and looked at the speaker grill to find a small bubble and when it was wiped with a microfibre cloth to clean dust of it, the paint just wiped away !!! Went to the Apple store to complain and they basically told me that I just bought a defective item for £629 !!! Not very happy with the service I received.

It’s still available to buy in the Apple store, I bought it two months back, if it’s clearly a manufacturing fault, I believe it should be sorted. I don’t expect to buy a new phone with a red Finnish that lasts two minutes.

An XR is not a new iPhone.

Avoid painted phones. They are a marketing gimmick. Go for anodized or self color - next time.
There must be a nail enamel to match .
