Loading to Google Photos directly from iCloud

I had some problems loading photos to GP from iPhone or iPad because of lugging. Can I load them directly from cloud storage to google’s cloud?

What is "because of lugging"? If you wish to transfer the photos from iCloud to Google Photos, you'll have to so from a computer: download the photos from iCloud Photos to the computer, then upload to Google Photos. thereafter.

You can't directly upload photos from iCloud.com to google.com , rather set up iCloud photo library and its preferences https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT204264

https://support.apple.com/en-in/guide/photos/pht5156cc968/4.0/mac/10.14

Select few photos from Mac system photo library folder https://support.apple.com/en-in/guide/photos/pht40b0be510/3.0/mac/10.13 and export to download folder in finder of Mac https://support.apple.com/en-in/guide/photos/pht6e157c5f/mac

Open google photos from the same Mac and sign in with your web gmail address and password , go to finder > location will be download select those photos and upload them https://support.google.com/photos/answer/6193313?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en&oco=0
