How do I get to Albums in Photos on iPad in iOS14?

In iPadOS 14 you should be seeing the albums in the sidebar, as described here: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/ipad/ipad99c6ec9e/ipados
Swipe from the left edge of the screen or tap 
to show the sidebar.
That’s what I thought. The sidebar is there, but Albums is not an option. And when I click on Library, it appears to open all the pictures, not in albums.
