how many songs can i transfer from iTunes to an USB simultaneously
also, when I try, using highlight/click various methods, I get a black circle when I try to drag - HELP

I have a 128gb USB drive I use in my truck. I do a copy and paste of the entire library using Windows Explorer. Currently I have 10,089 songs on the drive. And, I am using Windows 10 as well.
The new song will be in your library on your PC, but you will have to add it to your USB drive manually. I add songs/albums purchased from Amazon/Apple and just copy/paste them to the existing songs/albums already on the drive. No need to recopy the entire library.
Hello, cjohn50. That is MOST helpful. May I ask another question before going back to community? Do you happen to know when I buy another song on iTunes whether it will automatically drop into my iTunes library on pc? Or would I have to re-copy entire library so as to include the new purchase(s)? Thanks so much!
PS: I have a long ways to get to your 10,089 songs. I'm at 473!
