Somehow deleted all events on the calendar on my MacBook but all is visible in icloud. How do I get it back onto my computer?

Need help re-populating my MacBook Pro's calendar. Somehow lost all the appointments, but they show on the calendar in iCloud. How do I get all the information from icloud back onto my Mac?

MacBook Pro 15″, OS X 10.10

As per this article https://support.apple.com/guide/icloud/delete-or-hide-an-event-mmfbbb4470/icloud

If you accidentally delete a calendar or event stored in iCloud, you can use iCloud.com to restore it. See Restore contacts, calendars, bookmarks, and more using iCloud.com.

When calendar box is turned as on in calendar application of Mac https://support.apple.com/en-kw/guide/icloud-ipad/mmb1de40d9/icloud

The calendar with events will sync in Mac calendar application .

Thank you, tygb,

I found this site but I'm concerned about hitting "Restore". It says it will first save my "current calendar," which on my MacBook Pro is blank. I do have other Apple devices which are currently successfully running the calendar. Only the MacBook Pro deleted it because I ran a cleaning program on it. I want to make sure I don't inadvertently save a blank calendar to the icloud that then is transfered to other devices. Should I be concerned? Is there another way to copy the calendar from my iPad or my new Apple MacBook Air back to my older MacBook Pro? Or should I just select the latest saved calendar and press "restore". It does look like it's stored a calendar today and I made changes (on the MacBook Air today), so maybe it won't save a blank calendar?

Is there another way to copy the calendar from my iPad or my new Apple MacBook Air back to my older MacBook Pro?----when iPad and Mac are signed in with same Apple ID and password on the same network , when deleted calendar and events are stored in Mac and in iCloud.com they will be synced with iPad see the article https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT202337

It does look like it's stored a calendar today and I made changes (on the MacBook Air today), so maybe it won't save a blank calendar? ===restore of calendar will take time , depends how much is the data , when it is restored a mail always appears from iCloud server in IMAP account , if Apple ID is set up in mail accounts .

Only the MacBook Pro deleted it because I ran a cleaning program on it. ------don't use any cleaning apps on Mac , in finder > applications , if you have installed them right click over it and move to bin , restart the Mac and empty the trash , unknown apps will corrupt Mac system files , you can consult about it with senior apple care advisors in brief see the link https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT201232
