Photo’s (background activity) taking 89% of my charge!

I’ve recently updated to the new iOS 14 and I’ve been facing the issue of my phones battery getting draining within 3 hours and my phone overheating whilst no apps are being used.

Photos in the background draining battery For the last 2 days, my iPhone battery is drained in the morning before I even do anything other than listen to music. The battery health app shows that photos is the background is draining my battery. Why and how do I fix this? I haven’t done an upgrade recently.

Battery draining quickly on my new iPhone 15 Pro I got the phone yesterday and had it charging over night. In about 3 hours the battery is at 81% with always on display with wallpaper option. I just turned off wallpaper - anyone else have similar experiences? been using it a lot for messaging - not much gaming. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Update to iOS 14.0.1 and check again.
