orange dot when making a call

It is neither an issue nor a problem. Your iPhone is functioning as it is designed to do. It is informing you that an app is using your iPhone's microphone. When you see the orange dot then you can reconcile with yourself that the app in use should or should not be using the microphone.

It is an awareness feature. It makes the user (you) aware that Microphone is being used.

I have the same problem/ question. Can I get rid of it or is it always going to be there when making calls. Is someone recording/listening my calls

The screen won’t slide down to find out which app is recording, lve tried finding which one and cannot find it. How do l go about this.

How do I get the orange dot off my phone

If you notice an orange dot then that is for the microphone in use. You can PULL DOWN from the TOP RIGHT corner of your screen and that will reveal the Control Center. At the very top, you will see the name of the app that is using the microphone.

At this time, you are not going to be able to remove the orange and green dots.
