Stuck on login screen

I was simultaneously watching on YouTube and reading on two tabs when it froze. The same syllable was repeated over and over again from the video. I pressed down on the power button to shut it down and pressed it again to open it again. First it showed the Apple logo and sent me to the login page. But when I entered in my password, it showed a loading bar and was stuck there. I left it overnight but it was still the same. I shut it down again and opened it again to the login screen. The progress bar was still stuck loading, but the video I was watching when the problem occurred was still playing and the touch bar still works. The only thing not responding is my screen still stuck loading on the login.
