Phone calls

when I dial out the person who answers the phone can’t hear my voice and I can’t hear their voice even when the call is answered.

how can I fix this?

Reset Network Settings - Open Settings ➔ General ➔ Reset ➔ Reset Network Settings : This will reset all network settings. You may have to enter WiFi Network passwords again that you may have previously joined.
If the above does not resolve the issue then Try and Force Restart your iPhone exactly as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

Press and quickly release Volume UP button
Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
