I just upgraded my MacBook Pro a few days ago, thought it is a convenient one. I encountered the problem I don't want to experience. Losing the voice command and even the dictation feature. I mean Siri is still available but the "Hey Siri" is one I'm concerned with.
Would any enlighten me please, I would really appreciate it.

FWIW, to get "Hey Siri" to work on an older Mac, first you need to enable System Preferences > Accessibility > Voice Control…
Then press "Commands…" and either use one of the "Open Siri" commands…
Or you can create a Custom "Hey Siri" command…
Is your MacBook Pro from 2018 or later? Hey Siri doesn't work on older Macs.
When you enable Voice Control do you see this icon on the Desktop?
I don't know if it is later Mac but I think it is. Anyways, thank for the help!

As I posted above, it's possible to have "Hey Siri" work on older Macs, including iMacs. It works on a Late 2012 and 2015 iMac for me.
Is it okay for macOS Catalina to not have the "hey siri" feature?
