42 gigs is being taken up by other and no one has come up with a solution to get rid of it

No matter what I delete I cannot get my other storage down. It’s taking up almost ALL my storage and I don’t have a lot to begin with. What is cashe and how do I get rid of it and will it change my phone and is it something that I’ll need or miss. I need to delete that storage you Apple hasn’t come up with an answer that doesn’t require storage to do something
