I have an XS and OS is 14.0.1. I’ve set back tap response to trigger actions for both double and triple tap. This feature has never worked for me properly, it works sometimes and mostly doesn’t. I removed my spigel protective case and used it for couple of days and still this feature was not working properly. I checked my settings and looked up on the web to see if this can be calibrated, I could not find any such option.

Do any of you have problem using this feature? Is there anything I can do to fix it. And again, it works ~5/10 times, with or without protective case. Or should I just allow apple to fine tune this feature.

Hey there ShinojR,

We'd like to help get this feature working right. Taking the case off was a great step to have tried. As you have the latest iOS version, we can rule out being outdated. Let's rule out some other possible causes:

What happens for the times it doesn't work correctly? For example: do you see an error message, there just isn't any response at all, etc.
Let's also rule out any apps being outdated by following these steps: Check for app updates
