Returning a device

Hi there. I bought an Iphone a couple weeks ago, and I wanted to return it. But the closest apple only lets people inside the store if they want to purchase, or fix their old phone. Should I book an appointment as if I am going to buy a phone and then return it, or is there some easier way to mail the Iphone back? (I bought the phone at the store not online)
