I received a fake invoice for Beach Buggy Racing which I did not buy. It's from this email address: App Store <3ltagicpr0jchangsw@mashsyjehskugd.com> with the recipient given as: user-7784897979@email.apple.com which is obviously a group address with my address in it.
Has anyone else received the same? Has the apple database been hacked?

I got the same email and it was right after I made some changes to my credit card and email information on my Apple account

I just received an email saying I had successfully purchased beach buggy racing. I figured it was fake because it misspelled cancel several times.
It is a scam that has been going on in various forms for year and does not involve any hacking.
If the only indication of charges is from an email or text, be aware that it may be a phishing attempt to get you to log in to a site that appears to be Apple and divulge your password or credit card information. I had also thought that was a phishing case and had forwarded that email to reportphishing@apple.com but I shared it here because it's the first time I've been targeted at my apple address and I was hoping for news and tips from the Community.
