Maps app crashing

Apple Maps is continuously crashing. Another symptom that it cannot connect to CarPlay, it connects and disconnects again and again. I tried: restart my phone, delete the and removing its data from iCloud app, erase location setting from my phone. The iOS 14.0.1 is brand new on it: I applied the erase everything and restore it from backup because of the iOS 14 battery drain (that one is resolved). I use CarPlay daily with Zipcar, it’s a huge pain that it doesn’t work.
