How do I get rid of the dark square with half charged battery in the middle of my screen?

We can see how the battery icon in the middle of your screen would not work and needs to be removed.
If you have updated to the latest iOS 14 and using the widgets, you may have accidentally added the widget to your Home screen. To learn more about widgets and how to add and remove them, see Use widgets on your iPhone and iPod touch
You may want to charge your iPhone for a few minutes to see if that will that will remove the image.
