Alarm ringtone changes to Radar!

apple, please fix your alarm. I can’t really set the alarm without it being defaulted back to Radar and making my heart stop in panic. Why you do this apple why... i chose different tones and even ones i bought from the iTunes store but it keeps defaulting to RADAR! Please fix the alarm it’s so broke and I can’t depend on it!

Alarm Sound with Apple Music When setting an alarm, there is the option in the Sounds menu that lets you choose any song from your Apple Music library. After setting the song (the song title appears in the "edit alarm" menu), it does not play when the alarm rings. Rather, the default Radar sound plays, which is very unpleasant. If I choose any pre-installed tone from the menu like Apex, it works. Note: My Apple Music subscription is active and renews every month, so it shouldn't be my subscription causing the problem.

Hi Pensive7,

It seems you're having trouble with alarms and we can help.

Let's try deleting the alarm and deleting the tone that you have set for the alarm.

After you remove both, restart your iPhone:

Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

Try redownloading the tone and setting the alarm again:
