The issue seems to be with iOS 14 and above and has been expressed by multiple Ludo World players (posted in Ludo World’s Facebook page in addition to other Facebook gaming pages). My husband also had the same issue on his device with iOS 14, but I don’t have it when playing on my phone which is still on 13.7. In fact, I’ve tested this on the same account during the same game by switching between devices and there is significant lag when playing on iOS 14 (and above), it moves in slow motion.

ios 14 has changed something with animation that’s causing this. This issue has been going on for 2 months. Please correct this ASAP !

So now I’ve tested this out on multiple devices, 2020 iPad 12.9 with iOS 14.5 beta, iPhone 8 with iOS 14, iPhone 11 with iOS 14, iPhone 11 XR with iOS 13. And and a Galaxy tab S7+ and the galaxy S21+ phone. The issue ONLY exists on APPLE devices with iOS 14 or above! I even have old screen recordings that capture ludo play on my iPad Pro before updating to iOS 14. There is clearly a difference in speed and a significant lag after updating to iOS 14. Is anyone from Apple even monitoring this thread ???

Greetings, M7mdm7mod.

It appears that a game you play is reacting slower after updating your iPhone to iOS 14, and we're glad to help with this.

So it appears to only impact the pieces moving on the board. The emojis appear to be fine. iOS 14 changed something with the code for animation specifically the animation for the pieces moving. Apple keeps referring us to the developer. Most of the world uses Android devices including the developers for Ludo World. And I don’t think it’s fair for Apple to place the burden on Ludo World’s dev team for trying to figure out why the same code behaves differently in iOS 14 and above in comparison to previous versions. Wouldn’t it just be easier if Apple, the one who actually owns the operating system and MADE the change that impacted the code to tell the games dev team how to fix it. Sure maybe Apple doesn’t know...but if they don’t know how do they expect a third party dev team to figure it out. This has been going on for 3 months. This is a complete mess. I can see why majority of the world users Android devices... there is no other solution...

Move to Android and use it.

It is the developer's responsibility because they get the iOS during beta phase and it is their job to update their app to work with it. Apple does not contact all the developers in the world first then do updates based on that. Again, I don't doubt that the developer's have been in touch with Apple. If they cannot work with Apple engineers and fix it they can always remove the game from the App Store.

But why is it the developers responsibility? Shouldn’t Apple contact the developers since Apple made the change? Apple keeps referring us to the developer. I just want the issue fixed. The responsibility for this lies on Apple IMO.
