Microsoft Powerpoint on Mac - Codec unavailable

Hi! I have a problem with Powerpoint presentation. I downloaded a presentation in a format .pptx and it should contain an audio. When I want to play an audio it says: Codec unavailable.

Do you know what can I do? Codecs are just for windows, not for macOs.

I have MacBook Air (Retina 2019).

Thank you!

Hi Cipro

You might be better off if you were to post your question in a Microsoft support forum, or by asking Microsoft for help: Contact a third-party vendor - Apple Support:

Did you try opening the presentation with Keynote? It readily opens PowerPoint presentations, but I agree with your suspicion that the problem lies in the way that presentation's audio was encoded.
