I have an iPod Classic and want to restore to factory settings to sell. If I go to settings there is no "general" setting. Model 2.0.5 I have serial number etc and have owned for several years.

I am trying to delete all music on an old iPod Classic 2.0.5 Just want to restore to factory settings and need help since instructions tell me to go to Settings and then general and there is no general setting on this iPod.

Thanks!

That advice is for an iPod touch. To restore an iPod Classic you need to use iTunes, or Finder on a Mac running macOS 10.15 Catalina or later.
