I've had this issue since July and haven't been able to get it fixed. I can change the dual sim cellular plan labels (eg. Personal, Business, etc.). However, the little icon next to each label that would show up when I receive a call (eg. 'P' for Personal, 'B' for Business) is gone and I can not turn them back on. Anyway to fix this? I never know which line is ringing and it's frustrating.

Agreed that you should see a P or a B next to the incoming call line on your screen (based on your labeling). You are not seeing those indicators. There is no setting to those ON or OFF. I therefore recommend that you:
1) Try and Force Restart your iPhone exactly as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

How about turning both lines OFF and then ON again? Or have you done that already? Better then uninstalling and reinstalling the eSIM line.

Try labeling them something other than what you have for both lines. Make a custom label for this exercise. Then see if that works. If it does then go back to your original labels and see if it sticks.

Unfortunately that does not work either. More than likely it seems that I may have to uninstall and reinstall the sim cards. I was trying to avoid that, but it might be the only solution. Let me know if you have any other ideas. Thanks!

Yup, I already tried that as well. Oh well. I don't really want to uninstall and reinstall the lines, so I guess I'll just deal with the lack of labels. Bummer. Thanks for trying!
