If yours is 11-inch, there aren't any slots. A 'USB card adapter' may suffice.

"The 11-inch MacBook/Air do not have a SD slot; 13-inch MacBook/Air

starting with Late-2010 model to the 2017 model all have SD/XC slots."

An external USB-C? "Dock" such (as OWC) offers ports+slots may work.
