Why can I not find ExpressVPN in app store and is it safe to download from the web

Not all apps are in the App Store. ExpressVPN would be safe to download if you download it from their site (and not some other site): Go to https://www.expressvpn.com/?oid=homepage
Thank you. What was confusing was at bottom of their website showed Apple Ap Store & Google Play. These days I'm always leery of web download safety esp when indicate available at ap store and not. It's like they're trying to make one feel safe; yet, not actually.
The App Store on their website likely refers to the App Store for iPhones and iPads. It is not possible to install apps on those in any other way than through the App Store.
