How do I change my Media sync options?

I am trying to update my iphone 6s, but when I connect my phone to my computer, and try to do the update that way, it says "Updating to IOS 14.0.1 requires 930 MB of free space on your iphone. Please change your media sync options to make more storage available."

I am not sure how to do this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Open iTunes on Finder for macOS Catalina, For all other macOS versions Use iTunes

Then the Media* you think is not required on your iPhone, turn it off, then Sync / Apply. The unselected media* would be removed from your iPhone. And there would be more free storage on your iPhone now.

*Media: Music, videos, podcasts, ringtones, artwork, and Voice Memos
