Hello J9manx and welcome to Apple Support Communities. It appears you are having some difficulty with a screen anomaly on an Apple Watch.

If the line remains when the Watch is asleep after rebooting it, try unpairing it from the paired iPhone and the re-pairing the two devices.

Mine is doing the exact same thing since update a couple of days ago.

I have turned off and on again. I have unpaired and repaired. Thought that was the fix.... now it’s just started again. When I wake up my watch it disappears.

any ideas?
