Hi there I have updated my iphone11 to 14.0.1 and since the update when I watching even YouTube or Netflix I rotate the phone and the search bar appears how can I stop this.

It appears that after updating your device when rotating your device while using a third party app you see the Search box. We know how disruptive that would be while watching your content. You've come to the right place for help.


To start make sure that your apps are up to date:


Update apps or use automatic downloads


Next, restart your iPhone and see if that helps with the issue.

Reach back out to the community if you still have issues with the apps showing in the search bar. Knowing if this happens with only third party apps, or also with built-in Apple apps as well would be helpful.
