Why Spotlight Suggestions don't work for me?

Spotlight finds everything locally but online suggestions don't work. This feature is declared in the Apple Knowledge base: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204014. For example I want to see weather, stock prices right in Spotlight. But when I type weather in the search box Spotlight finds only local files, mail, bookmarks, history. What is wrong with this guy?

Ok, I found out what's wrong with it. It is just not available in my country... :(

Strange thing... Siri is available in Russia and Spotlight Suggestions are not.

You may need to boot into Safe Boot Mode (press/hold shift key) and allow it to clear System caches. Then reboot normally. See if that kicks Spotlight in the rear, and your weather queries now work.

I powered on the MacBook Air with 10.15.7 this morning, and immediately went to System Preferences : Security & Privacy to check on the status of location services, and found that it remains off. Yet again, in Spotlight, I entered, Weather in Dallas (1200 miles away), and it instantly presented that Spotlight result.

Plan B. Turn on the Weather extension in System Preferences : Extensions : Today, and configure it in the Notification panel's Today panel for your location, or other frequently checked locations.
