It states weak security under my network

My WiFi states. It has weak security-never seen that before.

iMac 21.5″ 4K, macOS 10.13

If your router is using WPA or WPA/WPA2 then it will say this. Upgrade the security on your router, or if your router is too old to support the newer security, then the only solution would be to get a new WiFi router.

That is a new feature in iOS 14; it checks the level of security of your router. Your router has always had weak security, you just didn’t know it. Now you know it. Your router should be set to WPA2(AES), WPA2-PSK(AES) or WPA3. If it is set to WEP, WPA, WPA2(TKIP) or anything else it is vulnerable to being hacked from outside of your network. You need to get the manual for your router to learn how to correct this. If the router is more than 5 years old you may need a new one.
