Do I need to turn off my iPhone to change SIM card?

I have iPhone 11 and i want to change my SIM Card, but i wonder do i need to turn off my phone to change SIM card or just leave it ON, because i don't want to damage my iPhone 11 or damage something to softwer, mobile network etc..i don't want to mess something...i have read alot of posts and someone say to turn off device some say you don't need. I take care a lot of my Apple devices so i will be pleased if someone help me..

I can tell that you are a very cautious person. That is good. Turn off the iPhone first. Install the SIM card and then turn it ON. You will have the peace of mind when you do it that way.
