Facetime incoming calls are not going through when my iPhone is LOCKED

After troubleshooting wifi/data connections with Apple support, third party communication apps are already working - meaning I can receive calls while my phone is LOCKED. However, incoming calls through facetime are not going through or my phone is not ringing. So I think we can isolate the issue on the facetime itself. Wifi and third party apps are already in good condition. Can anyone help me with this facetime issue? thank you

Hey there Carlamaze,

We understand you're not receiving FaceTime calls on your iPhone while it is locked. However, other calls through apps come through without issue. We'll be happy to help.

First, we'd recommend double-checking that Do Not Disturb is off. You can do that by going to: Settings > Do Not Disturb

Next, even though other apps are OK, let's try using a different connection. Use a different Wi-Fi network and test over cellular data.

Let's also make sure you're up-to-date, or if you're already up-to-date complete a standard restart. Reference the links below.

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Restart your iPhone

If you still experience issues, reach back out to Apple directly and they can look further into this with you: Get Support

We hope this helps. Cheers!
