i have a 2011 Mac which is running OS High Sierra 10.13.6 The new reminders app is not compatible post updating and now reminders has stopped working on my PC. anyway to restore the old version ? or any other OS which a 2011 mac would support for the new reminders app ?

You can go to iCloud.com and login to your account and use Reminders there,
this will allow you to synch to the Reminders on a Catalina Mac.
