I need to know if "Find my iPhone" is deactivated

Hi !

My iphone is broken and i send it to my insurance. They told me to deactivate "Find my iphone" but i cant find they device i my icloud when i press "Find my iphone". When i could not find it i remove it from my Apple instead so i removed the device from my apple id but i need to know if the "Find my iphone " is deactivate now?

Per -- Remove a device from Find My iPhone on iCloud.com - Apple Support.

"When you remove a device, it’s removed from your Devices list and Activation Lock is turned off."
