The HDMI cable is dislodging from the back of the new 4k apple tv device.

We purchased a new apple tv device and have issues staying connected. The HDMI cable is dislodging from the back of the apple tv device. We changed the old HDMI cable to new super expensive HDMI cable thinking this would solve the problem and it did not. What can we do short of taking out and putting back the HDMI cable each time just to watch apple tv?

Contact Apple Support for hardware issues, like the fitting of the HDMI port. They may ask you to have the unit examined at an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider.

Take a close look into the HDMI port in the back of your Apple TV, you will find tiny roller balls on all side... these roller balls have tiny springs behind them and they are supposed to stabilize the HDMI cable and hold it.

If you see anything not normal, it means the HDMI port is faulty, since your device is new, Apple should replace the Apple TV device for you.
