Uber: Apple Watch no ride options except "Uber Pet"

I have a new Apple Watch S6 and when trying to use the Uber app, only have the option to request an "Uber Pet". I have tried; uninstalling the app, rebooting devices, logging out of account. When contacting Uber they responded with the below which hasn't worked:

To try to update your Apple Watch, use the following steps:

1. Close the Uber app on your Apple Watch

2. Power off and then power on your iPhone

3. Re-open the Uber app on your iPhone and sign-in if prompted

4. Re-open the Uber app on your Apple Watch

If you continue to experience this issue, please reach out to Apple support. In the meantime you can request a ride on your iPhone and you should see the ride reflected on your Apple Watch.
