New Email Account Will Notes Be Deleted If I Delete The Old Account

Hi

I have just set up a new email account and when I got to delete the old email account it warns me about notes being deleted.

My default save location seems to be iCloud. They are always synced to my MACBOOK.

My question is, if I delete my old email, will it delete my notes :( as I use notes a lot and don’t want them lost.

You can also copy the iCloud Notes into the On my iPhone or the On my iPad folders. The notes in those folders will be included in your backups so you would have access to them when restoring a backup. You can also copy them to the On my Mac folder in the notes app on your Mac. If you do that, they will be included in any backups you do on your Mac. I use Time Machine for backups on my Mac.

Yes, you can copy them into another Notes App. I don’t know how many you have, so it could take a good bit of time if you have that many.

All you have to do is to select all of the text in the note, copy it, and then paste into another note. I use the built in Notes app on the iPhone and iPad. I use iCloud notes so that the notes sync across my iPads, iPhone and my Mac. However, many of the notes that I sync with iCloud are also copied and then pasted into new notes in the On my iPad and the On my iPhone folders in the notes app. I have other Notes apps as well, but I have been primarily using the iOS Notes app.
