Mail does not show DOCX attachment
On iPhone Mail the attachment is visible on Macbook Mail not -> neither a paperclip.
How friggin hard can it be??

Zip the file before attaching to an email.
I agree that it should work but did you at least try zipping the file? Do other file types work as you expect?
No I do not want to try zipping. I expect all all attachments to be visible in an email application. Even one such as exotic as DOCX which only half mankind uses.
That I even need to explain the use case of this.. Well since it's so hard to comprehend... a secretary of let's say 50% of all companies of the world sends an email with an attachement - like a meeting agenda. You actually want her to zip it first because Apple does not like to even show that there is an attachment to this email??
However I already dumped this useless mail app again, and reverted back to Thunderbird.

It's how it works. Other attachments will be inline.
Whole world in offices use DOCX.
That's not how it supposes to work.
Then ask Windows to make changes to their software.
