Just returned my iphone 4 due to speaker problems and got a refurbished iphone 4 now its dropping calls and THE SIDE HEATS UP SOOO HOT its uncomfortable in my hands on those terms will they give me another phone???.....
Reason I say this is because the phone, when in use, will get warm. With heat, it is subjective to each user. Overall, with use, the phone will heat up.
I would suggest restoring your iPhone and setting up as a new phone before you take it for service.

i am new to this forum stufffff....couldnt find my post..LOL..sorry wont happen again..
No worries. 😉
If the phone gets warm that's not a problem. Hot is a problem, especially after 15 minutes of usage. If none of that is an exaggeration then personally I wouldn't continue to use it.
its funny you say that... because here i am resoring my phone to factory settings so i can see if it solves the proximity sensor thing (which it DIDN'T...like i thought), and my phone is super warm on the upper right hand side. i was thinking maybe it's because it's been working on syncing/restoring etc for the past hour.. but i'm actually a little concerned about it. i'm going to be swwapping this one out as soon as i can anyway, though.
best of luck to you. and i know, i'm new to this forum stuff too and i'm sure i'll be scolded for opening a new thread somewhere. LOL this site is huge tho... 😉 really cool to get advice quick tho, love it.
