iPhone 12 non-MagSafe case. Could it lower the charging speed?

iphone 12 was released with MagSafe phone cases, and in the event, they stated something like "With MagSafe iphone cases, you can use the 15W fast charging and you don't have to remove the case".

My question is, does it mean that if you are using the NON - "MagSafe" designed cases, then the 15W fast charging will be affect?

Since I saw articles like "some 3rd party manufactories are authorized to produce MagSafe case", so I supposed that it is not something very simple, like "case + thin round iron pad". If so, how can I know which are real "authorized"? Will there be any "TM" name for authorized product?

That is correct.

MagSafe allows 15w charging. Standard Qi charging is 7½w.

There are probably cases with thin material backs that will have minimal affect upon MagSafe charger performance.

It’s all going to depend upon construction, and the coupling requirements of the MagSafe chargers.

hmmm, such bad news for me, haha. Don't like the looking of the official sold ones. Hopefully more authorized 3rd party products is following up.
