Swiping or pulling down from the middle of the Home Screen no longer shows the Search function (the way the instructions say it should). I can find it on my iPhone still, but no longer on my iPad. What changed?

Thank you. Just checked and it turns out I’m running 14.0 on iPhone and iPad, and neither lets me swipe from top any more. Hope it’s a 14.0 thing that gets tweaked! I see I can Search in Settings, but it’s an extra step.

I am running iOS 13, when I am on the home screen, if I pull down from the centre of the screen to the bottom it shows the search bar
so it does work
Rather than swipe down from the top try swiping down from the centre of the Home Screen as that works for me.
i am yet to download iOS 14, so I can’t help, try searching online or waiting for somebody who runs iOS 14 to confirm for sure
