How to connect a Apple Wireless Keyboard 2011 to a Macbook Pro 2020

Hi,

I have a Macbook Pro 2020 and I'm trying to connect it with my Apple Wireless Keyboard 2011. At the moment, when I open Bluetooth I can see my keyboard and the connect button. After pressing the connect button, I have an error message saying that it can't connect. Is the the bluetooth technology in my keyboard too old for my new computer?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

It's working now. It was connected to my sisters iPad.
