Setting up voicemail for new SE2020

I record the greeting and get a message: com.apple.mobilephone error 1035. What is this?

And how do I fix it?

Hello Cody3424,

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. We understand that an error message appears, when you attempt to save a greeting in the Voicemail tab of the Phone app. We'll be happy to help.

To help troubleshoot this behavior, we recommend to follow each of the following steps:

  1. Update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS 14.1: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
  2. Check to see if there's an available carrier settings update: Update your carrier settings on your iPhone or iPad
  3. Verify that the Cellular Data feature is turned on in Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data.
  4. Follow the section in this article that says, "Get help with Visual Voicemail": Set up Visual Voicemail on your iPhone
  5. Reset the password to your voicemail and restart your iPhone. You may need to contact your wireless provider for assistance in resetting the voicemail password.
  6. Contact your wireless provider to verify that Visual Voicemail is properly configured for your wireless account.

If these steps do not help, we suggest to contact Apple Support to review this further. You can contact them through this link here: Get Support

Best regards.
