What'S the easiest way to open a .bin file on Mac OS (Mojave)? The .bin file is for a router firmware upgrade.

It amaze me that few still rely on "file extensions" nowadays. Anyways...


".bin" can be a visual reminder that the file is a legacy macOS binary file. It could be something else. A search on the Web can give few hints on how to extract the file. The manufacturer of the router can also provide more information.
